K.T. Grimaldi Sensei

K.T. Grimaldi started training in the martial arts when he served in the U.S. Army Airborne & Special Forces. He started his Aikido training under Ralph Chiradia Sensei in Hartford, Connecticut in 1989.  In 1991 Grimaldi Sensei began his training as a Kenshusei (Apprentice), in the Teacher Training Program, under Lorraine DiAnne Shihan in Springfield, Massachusetts. During this time he participated in intensive training in Aikido, Aiki-Weapons, Iaido, and Zazen. While in the Kenshusei Program, Grimaldi Sensei traveled frequently to San Diego to train under T.K. Chiba Shihan, and traveled extensively with Chiba Sensei when he came to the East Coast for training seminars.

In 2008, Grimaldi Sensei began his training in the internal aspects of Aiki under Dan Harden of Spencer, Massachusetts. He continues to train and integrate the internal power concepts into Aikido as he develops his own practice as a student & teacher. Grimaldi Sensei believes that you must have beginners mind to evolve in your own martial arts training.

Grimaldi Sensei is a 5th-degree black belt and Shidoin (Certified Chief Instructor) and Founder of CMA since 2008.
